Hi, my name is Frank!
I am an enthusiastic wing-/windsurfer, mountain biker, skier, photographer and I support the Wing Life Podcast as social media manager since late 2023.
About myself:
My motto and tag you find in my social media posts: #lovetheride
Back in fall 2020 I started wing foiling. I am stoked since day one and love to be part of this fast growing cool new water sport.
I am very much interested in the development / design of wing foiling equipment and I like to listen to podcasts.
So I stumbled over Luc's new Wing Life Podcast and very much like to listen to his inspiring conversations with brand managers, designers, pro riders out of the wing foiling world.
In 2003 I build up a river wíndsurfing related community(www.river-rippers.net).
Later in 2005 I was part of the fast growing Canadian Skypilot Kiteboarding community and since then I build up good network of people within the global windsurf, kitesurf, now wing foiling community, where we share our passion for the sport.
With the former Wingfoil Experience podcast (2020-2021) by Daniel Graffe, I already supported a wing foil podcast as social media manager and bring some experience and creativity to Luc's podcast.
Where do I live and wing foil ?
I live in the south west of Germany near Heidelberg.
With 100+ wing sessions, I am an advanced rider, love to jump high, carve some turns and do some 360 variations.
My local playgrounds are River Rhine and some lakes.
Favourite Sailing Spots:
River Rhine (Germany), Fuerteventura (Spain), Columbia River Gorge (USA), Lake Silvaplana (Switzerland).
